Myriam Pierrat is "maître en droit" and holds a DESS in business law and a DJCE ("Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d'Entreprise").

She became a member of the Luxembourg Bar in 1994 and joined Elvinger, Hoss & Prussen on 1st January 2000 together with Marc Elvinger with whom she has worked since 1st January 1996.

She is the co-author of various articles, the most recent are The mission of the Supreme Court of Justice: The Luxembourg position and The care and respect of the individual at the end of life.

She is General Secretary of the "Groupe luxembourgeois de l'Association Henri Capitant des amis de la culture juridique française" and President of the Luxembourg committee of the "Union Internationale des Avocats".

Her principal field of activity is civil and commercial litigation.
